Not really. Soul Calibur is corrupted but not evil. It just has an obsession to destroy whoever wields Soul Edge due to the corruption in Algol's soul when he created it to counter Soul Edge, and Elysium was sealed due to her twisted ways of "justice" and "order", but the seal broke in Soulcalibur IV when she manipulated Siegfried to destroy Soul Edge, due to their mutual hatred for it and how Siegfried wanted redemption for his actions as Nightmare. Elysium is evil more or less, but Soul Calibur itself? Nope, she still needs someone who is pure of heart and soul to wield her unlike her "brother".
