Blood borne was my first game in the countryside at my dads in the middle of nowhere w minimal wifi and it took ages to download to my ps so as it was I luckily turned my room into a woods like room w lanterns as my setting as I love horror like scary settings to add extra atmosphere life was awesome back then!

As much as I loved elden ring I have to say I prefer the linearity of other souls games a lot more. Especially DS3. I have ADHD and seem to always get very easily distracted and forget where I'm going, what I need to do, so exploring is a pain in the ass for my brain. Great video!

Dont know how i missed this video! As much as I love DS3 and find it the most polished of the trilogy, I still tend to play DS2 more. DS3 is so linear, with literally only a couple branching paths, so there is no room for tackling a playthrough a different way. Plus DS2 is second only to ER in its build variety. And Majula! My personal ranking is Bloodborne, DS1, Elden Ring, DS2, DS3 and Demons Souls.

I didnt play a fromsoft game until ds3. I have also played elden ring, both on pc. I recently got a ps5 so i tried out bloodborne. Im not a console player so it was difficult getting started but it seems really fun so far. My only gripe is that you have to grind enemies for estus which is pretty frustrating. Im not even close to beating it yet, and its not on pc so i may not be qualified to judge it but i still prefer ds3 and elden ring.

I started with BB, quit, then my friend got me to play ds3 with him i sumoned him in and beat the game, it was so much fun and we even dabbled in pvp so fun, then I went back and played through ds3 alone, then played bb again DESTROYED THE GAME, loved it, then played ds1 loved it, then sekiro, didn’t quite like it, then ds2 loved it, then demons souls i just finished ps3 version actually, and I believe I’m gonna do elden ring next. My favorite is still probably bb

I started with bloodborne I hated it cause how hard it was I quit for about a year, played Elden ring had fun came back to bloodborne beat the game in a week and got platinum loved it then played demons souls ps5 version and I’m going to start dark souls trilogy when I have the funds currently my favorite is bloodborne

Same.. Bloodborne is a comfort zone for me.. I am addicted with the dark gothic design . In fact bb has the best environment design.. Second best is demon souls and third is elden. Just need that 60fps on bb

im just starting my soulsbourne experience. i started with elden ring and have been absolutely hooked. i just beat it on my 3rd play through. i’ve played a bit of sekiro and I bloodborne is coming today. so far elden ring has been a lot more enjoyable than sekiro

1. Elden Ring (only realised it was my fav after second playthrough) 2. Dark Souls 1 - magical experience for me. Only played it in 2020 but the lore, environments and level design BLEW my mind. 3. Demon’s Souls - loved the visuals, loved the areas, loved it. 4. Bloodborne - brilliant atmosphere, great bosses, evil and twisted brilliant areas. 5. Dark Souls 2 - not as good as the others but an enjoyable journey 6. Dark Souls 3 - offered nothing new. Good boss fights but nothing mind blowing IMO. Also the most bland areas/level design.

I think that DS3 combat isn’t as good as it should’ve been because of how imbalanced the poise is. Because you have no poise, you are weak to spam, and every enemy is spammy. The enemies don’t have poise either so it becomes a game of who swings first, so honestly I prefer DS1 combat

Agree DS3 has the best combat by a mile. However DS1 had better level design and aesthetics in some areas, despite having lower resolution Never played Elden Ring or Bloodborne yet (need to finish DS2 first). The open worldness of Elden Ring puts me off slightly because I love the interconnecting level design and "linearity" of the three souls games

I honestly had more fun playing DS2 then BB which is a HOT take. I think BB is realistically a better game, but DS2 was a blast. My issues with Bloodborne are it's boss line up (beast bosses are the worst imo), healing system, lack of variety in set pieces (as in many areas feel very similar to each other), under whelming amount of weapons (though the ones it does have are good), the reduction in rpg elements, not able to rest at lanterns, terrible performance, PS4 exclusive, and how the game doesn't tell you anything about the story when you first step in the world (a brief cutscene like DS1 would have been helpful as the story is really cool but very difficult to piece together)

Darks Souls 2 easily at the top of my list, followed by Dark Souls 3, then Dark Souls 1, then Demons Souls. I haven't played Bloodborne since it is restricted to a console, and I haven't played Sekiro since it is supposedly completely parry based. Putting Dark Souls 2 last is more about sucking up to whiners than anything else.

I personally think demons souls is the weakest in the series. It's pretty damn clunky and has the most bare bones areas and bosses in the series. Still a great game though

Flamelurker, Old King Allant, and penetrator were all just your typical dodge roll to win boss fights. the puzzle ones like adjudicator, dragon god, maiden Astrea etc are just chores, especially on repeat playthroughs. As much as I loved the original Demon's Souls, the boss fights are objectively bad compared to its successors. Tower Knight still king tho.

Demon Souls Remake gets D tier. Ngl DS2 gets C Tier. I can’t forgive the fact of how tough the start of the game is for new players. I’ve gotten 5 Souls Series platinums and I only need DS2 and Demon Souls. DS2 takes the cake from Demon Souls

After playing 100s of hours in each of the games, Bloodborne is my favourite but I never felt compelled to come back to it, demon souls has my favourite atmosphere in all the games and dark souls 3 is my personal pick and go to it just was the one that I had the most fun with. Elden Ring just feels so bloated, barren and a chore to play through in comparison. I absolutely hate the open world of Elden Ring

Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 aren’t that good without the DLC, Bloodborne especially. Elden Ring easily stands alone without DLC, as does Sekiro. Sekiro and Elden Ring supremacy.

Sekiro is nr 1, the arena for bosses is the greatest thing. Elden Ring is bloated as hell and the ashes make the game stupid, the ashes just tank the boss and you jump and heavy attack with 2 swords and finish the boss in 20 seconds, its stupid in my opinion. Its Dark Souls 3 but worse/bloated with training wheels.
