You always can throw out your cell phone. Like I have still got gear from 80-90s and never gonna sell that. I rock cars from 90-2007. I didn't live in the US in the 90's, but today Cali for me is still magic place. Especially nature, and rural areas, way better than LA.

I live in the Monterey Bay for the last 30 years, have lived in CA 40 years. Grew up as a teen in the 90s (was a freshman when this dropped). We can't go back unfortunately. I mean, I DO drive a 93 Ford SHO filled with 90s music (some new too), need a cellphone unfortunately, but it was a different vibe here then, and the ideologies were vastly different. This was at a time when a lot of the youth were feeling optimistic about the future and how they could impact it positively, before the Bush/Gore election (which woke a lot of us up that were asleep at the wheel), followed by Columbine and 9/11. The American response to those things vastly changed our reality, and pretty much killed all optimism in our particular generation.@@James1199-f1p

That's not true necessarily. The past can be good without everything now sucking ass. There's so much useful technology that the world constantly uses now. And things were not perfect in the 90's either, it was a MESSY decade, Boomers and other elders were already saying GenX had ruined society and it was in the toilet. So, I guess they were right too. And this song is as incredible as it was in 93, even though it was easily the worst year of my childhood. 😂

They are "The Wu-Tang of the West" But remember the West coast THE BEST COAST. HIEROGLYPHICS/SOULS OF MISCHIEF are the best group ever imo, wordsmiths, Lyrical geniuses, and changed the way people rapped. The multi's, thought pattern, and rhyme scheme was something special. This is proof kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2nEZpmwnZWngNE Eminem and Andre 3000 were influenced by Hiero and says they are "RAPPERS RAPPERS" The world needs a JUICE CREW, WUTANG, HIEROGLYPHICS reunion/celebration of hip-hop!! Real hip hop. Those 3 crews arguably defined the golden age of hip hop. Hieroglyphics crew is best imo though. 93' Til Infinity, 3rd Eye Vision, and Trilogy.... Those 3 albums are better than any 3 and other crew can assemble. Add Full Circle and its a wrap. Souls of Mischief/Hieroglyphics flows were sacred writings. Thats what Hieroglyphics means: sacred writings. 93' Til Infinity - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nImtlGWEjtx7oNk Make Your Mind Up - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYqqinikaLBgeaM You Never Knew - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWiVaohrdrJ8gas Mics Of The Round Table - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooSmhHSmpL2WabM What A Way To Go Out - kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5CWgHusjpZpp9E And that's only 5 of my fav tracks of their.... they have DOZENS of songs better than most rappers/crews BEST. Also... History lesson: HIEROGLYPHICS/SOUL OF MISCHIEF WENT INDEPENDENT once Jive records wanted to drop them. Jive Records never gives the artist publishing rights but SOULS/HIERO put their foot down and kept em. A HUGE DEAL BACK THEN... everyone was like HOW DID THEY GET JIVE TO LET THEM KEEP THEIR SHIT??. one of the reasons JIVE dumped them later on. SOULS is smart owning their own work. HEIRO/SOM are imo the best rap group ever (yes better than WU-TANG who are 2nd..) Labels needed HIERO more than they needed JIVE. DEL, Tajai, Opio, PhestoDee, Casual, Pep Love, and A-Plus went independent and have been going strong ever since. 20+ years. 93' TIL INFINITY! Like NAS said in 2006... HIP HIP...hip hop... IS DEAD" It died in 99' with BIG L but was put out of its misery in 2004 with O.D.B.

Dude the whole aesthetic of this song and video captured the 90s in a way that makes a lump in your throat if you were there. The cartoons. Malls. Super soakers. No ones face buried in an iPhone. Sunshine literally seemed more genuinely bright and consuming back then. Like the freshness of them being at a national park on a sunny day just captures it all and matches the beat so well.

The beat is dope and really helps to escape the noise of reality. On the real though, we are sadly witnessing the death of novelty or anything genuine which came from strife or fueled real artwork like this. The internet has and will, only replicate prototypes of human creations and simulate the experiences we once genuinely shared in person without technological/frequency barriers... I know it sounds crazy, see "going viral" and other phenomena. Nobody wants to admit to the death of creativity or the imagination. Anyway, this type of nostalgia is the last emotional connection humanity will ever have to their past, in the near future as AI and quantum tech begins to merge together... as we become less human with each decade

@@days5345 I think it's a very good signing. Yes he has had a below par season for his own standards, but I think he'll still be worth the money although I think £65m is a bit much. He is similar to Alonso in a attacking sense, is faster and imo can defend better than Alonso. Lampard is a manager who probably values attack more than defence and a combination of him and Pulisic on that left side will be deadly. I reckon he'll end the season with 6 goals and 9 assists while putting in a decent defensive showing. One thing is for sure, he's an upgrade on what we've got at the moment.

@@aadamkhan7205 if you were born after 95, your generation is trash. No offense of course..

Closing my eyes while listening to this song can take me back to the summer of '93 when I was 16 years old. Great time to be alive, poor youngsters nowadays don't have a clue, there's a reason why this was called the Golden Era of Hip Hop.

+Carlos romero "Real beats"? The fuck you know about hip hop production?
@loempiavreter9 жыл бұрын
+NaughtyGawd Because 90s hip hop is best time for the genre! Just like 60s and 70s reggae is better then the crapload of todays jamaican muzik. 70s UK punk is better then any mohawk leather fake punk shit or the pop punk of rich little kids.
@naughtygawd32699 жыл бұрын
+loempiavreter but it's annoying to see that same comment over and over again, btw 80s hardcore punk>70s punk

This tune takes me back to when life was so free and simple. Spending all my time riding BMX. Listing on cassette repeat. Play, stop, flip, fast forward, flip, play. Street, dirt, park just had the right vibe for riding. Fast forward too many years and just got BMX again, straight back onto this tune and takes me back to them free and simple days. Man I could cry. This will always be a timeless classic.

Maaaaaaaaan there will never be a better era in hip hop than the late 80's and the entire 90's!!! There's been so many great MC's that I grew up listening to that don't get mentioned at all like their impact on the hip hop culture never happened and that's why true hip hop lovers like myself can't rock with this new era of rap because we know that there's a BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RAPPER AND A REAL MC 💯🗣🎯
