Jerry Dammers is a true genius. I wish he’d released more music post-The Specials.

Completely agree. For me The Specials were Jerry Dammers and his bandmates were basically his instruments directed by him. I bet he's created loads of great stuff buried away in his home studio, it'd be almost tragic if he never releases anything new musically ever again.

Absolutely agree. Thought his Spatial AKA would do an album but never happened.

@@stumagoo2395 Isn't that why The Specials broke up? Cos the band members where sick of his direction of how songs where to be played. Pity they didn't listen, they could have made more albums.

Thanks for sharing this. To think Jerry wrote the punky Do the Dog with the Specials and then he composes this which is so different shows how forward thinking his ideas are. A great track!

Brilliant Film is Absolute Beginners! This piece of music was from the Riot scene in the movie, which my friend was in! Thanks for posting this.
