Jeffrey & Jody's routines were always so well choreographed. A decade later Jody was still keeping me dancin' with her solo career and music videos. Especially 'Still A Thrill" where I joined her in my TV room dance floor.

Kids walked to school, rode bikes, skated, played outside and a chicken wing was not larger than an adult's hand. With all the hormones in food and lack of activity it's no wonder childhood obesity and diabetes are national epidemics. We are failing our kids miserably.

I was born in 1955 and I graduated from high school in 1973. I remember those days very well have a large Afro, wearing Bell Bottoms and platform shoes from Tom McCain and Flag Brothers. Whatever happen to James Phillips? He was one of my favorite male dancers that came down the Soul Train line with Pat Davis. I had heard James Phillips was dead. Darnell Williams that played Jesse on ABC's All My Children told me when I met in him in D.C. in the 80's, he use to be a Soul Train dancer. I don't remember seeing Darnell Williams. I wish I had a Time Machine that I could go back to the early 70's being in high school and at Morgan State University from 73 to 77. Those were the best days in my life because today in 2024, the world is in a hot mess and I fear something horrific will happen before 2024 ends that will affect us all globally. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
