Give it a dedicated practice half or 1 hour a day, im also a self taught, within a year you can be quite good, not like the pro but impressive enough, the technique you will gradually master is rasgueado, pulgar, arpeggios, tremolo, then alzapua and picado are two things you need to keep practising for life time, they may be played in first months even before tremolo, but to play it perfectly smooth and fast is different story So 1 hour a day, then boom in a year you are already decent enough to play, you wont even realise But dont forget, have fun doing!

Don't you think that it is better to practice one technique at a time and start practicing the other one when you've mastered the previous one? Or just practice every technique everyday? Which one is better

@@darkcomet1607 if you will play flamenco you want to practice FLAMENCO altogether in a period of time, thats not just techniques like rasgueado, arpeggio, etc but also palos like bulerias, rumba, so on When you practice you can emphasize on rasgueado today, picado by tomorrow, arpeggio day after that, but at the end of the day always try to play them all, this will help you get the feel and improve faster, key is never give up and keep practicing
