Update finally got my cat back exhaust in for my Camry SE 18. Instantly Toné is deeper but not loud at all while running or drone is very minimal. When you step on the gas you can feel a slight pick up in horsepower. From inside the cabin you can hear it screen a bit for the engine that it’s working with. Doesn’t sound to loud when starting so don’t worry about waking the neighbors. Took the shop about 45 mins to install it. I also have a dry flow AEM air filter that may add a bit deeper tone looking to hook up a cold air soon. Only negative I didn’t receive a MF sticker I mean geez for $730 send a customer a t shirt or lanyard sticker or something sheesh I mean I waited almost 3 months. Magnaflow get at me for being a loyal customer!!!!

Geez Music I cant say for sure but it seems like a bit added on I drive the highway a lot but I did notice on a full tank it says 498 until empty. It used to say maybe 460-470

Since this is a bolt-on kit i assume it uses the stock resonator. Why replace one muffler for 2? How would it sound with just the one round one ?

Sorry if these people are hating on you lol but the TRD in my opinion was a disappointment, mainly because of the price and lack of luxury features. I will admit that the TRD model has great wheels and exhaust. I might just consider the XSE V6 and adding an aftermarket exhaust

It’s a kinda simple mod if you are gonna do it yourself You are gonna need exhaust hangars, bolts, and heat shield for the opposite side and a new plastic shield. (or you can cut it) You might have to drill in the bolt holes if they aren’t there already or weld the exhaust hangers on to the car

Yes you can you might have to do some modifications pending on what side of the car your exhaust come out of. I know hybrids tend to route their exhaust on the opposite side of the normal petrol trim. Check that out before you purchase.

I bought one for my 2018 Toyota Camry SE with the Exhaust alone you lose a bit of low end torque because its a wider pipe than the stock muffler and as a result you lower your exhaust velocity and the ability to scavenge, but in return gain HP in the high RPM range from a wider flow. For me I lost a bit of MPG in city because of the wider pipe diameter and the need for the engine to add more fuel to the mix starting off. (maybe too because the new sound makes your foot a bit heavier) At constant freeway speeds though I've gain MPG. I've seen MPG all the way up to 36 MPG in my car. Ideally you will need a Cold Air Intake with this to balance out that loss of City MPG and to raise your exhaust velocity and to truly gain HP and Torque. To make it even better get an aftermarket tune since this car likes to correct all modifications to stock tune. This information is from what I could feel in my seat as I didn't get to dyno test my car. There is little freeway drone it’s there at 80+mph but ever so slightly and you have to focus on it really to hear it. Sounds like a bad wheel bearing to those who want a comparison, nothing a good jam session can drown out. The sound though overall is great.

@@SaahajMattey that one is pending where you live and what kind of tune you want. All I can say is make sure you go to a shop that dyno test the car before and after they tune. Without that you won’t know what kind of result your tune gave you and you could blow your engine with a bad tune...

The music really drowns out the true intention of this video. I don’t know who does the edits, but they need a lecture. But in the end, I think I’d still go for the TRD exhaust simply because there’s no droning, backed up warranty, and it just sounds so conservative but sporty all at the same time. It’s that resonator pack on the side of each muffler. I don’t know how the engineers designed it that way, but it works.
