I noticed you seem to be strumming with all your finger tips, or middle and ring fingers, not just the index finger like most uke players. At least it looks that way to me. I find a lot of songs feel better if I do that as well. If I want to project more sound, I'll switch to index finger. Just depends on the song. Is that right? I also like to strum with the pad of my thumb in places where it needs to be soft and ethereal.

I have a good repertoire of chords inside a lot and they have helped my songs sound more complete instead of C,F,G7. Of course that's natural progression, but I'm ready to start using more of the fret board and making chords further in. Can you direct me to some of your more advanced videos I can look at? Thank you sweet lady!

Hi Katy! (Katie?) I've been seeing uke videos using more percussive sounds, beside the chuck. What do you think of that and do you have any videos using other drum sounds? I didn't find any, but I could be very wrong. What say you my friend?

I have one song where I use a more percussive technique and that's "The Middle" by Zedd. I also have some left handed muting technique videos featuring a reggae strumming beat. I'll link those below :). If I get to it, that would be fun. There's so much that I want to do. Perhaps one day I'll be a full time KZbinr and be able to do everything on my ever growing list 😂. Thanks for watching and have a great day. The Middle - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6DOn2isqsyNma8 The Tide is High - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYquempopdWtack
