Stu. Don't forget a "High Bilge level alarm." Mount a bilge pump float switch higher than the bilge pumps, then wire it to the boats electric horn through a relay. That way if something goes awry when the boat is unattended, hopefully someone would get annoyed with the horn going off and would complain to someone.

Hi Stu, The only thing that is missing from the steel trawler is back-up propulsion. The back-up, Grey Marine six cylinder, got us out a bind on the FV Tommy on Lake Superior. What I would say having done my own trawler is have all your pump outlets up through the deck and then overboard pretty high up, the pumps will have a head spec which is usually fairly good or the goose neck idea is great too, I wish I could link a picture of my boat re floating after grounding on sand and the bilge keel completely sinking in the sand and the boat heeling right over, glad my pump outlets were high up then

G'day mate , forgot to mention that a super cheap alternative for hot water is , a couple of solar camp showers. It's just a thick plastic bag,15/20 litres with black on one side and you could lay them on the roof of the wheelhouse and they come with a metre or so of hose and a little plastic shower head that has a simple stop flow .. they get REALLY hot in summer after a few hrs.. could be a simple fix for a bit of luxury !

@scottmaschino19275 жыл бұрын
The hands will likely fit into a new movement as well if you can't find one with the same style as the old one. Generally they just push on over a plastic barrel. Aussies sometimes really have a lesson about elocution that friends in the UK should learn! at their best, both all the varieties of English in the UK and down under still hold the potential for great relief when Americans have been favored. but of course, dispositions sometimes can be problematic, depending on politics, for example! funny indeed to remark about such tonics in the context of your concrete efforts against noise aboard your increasingly upgraded vessel! this video is good on several points, not just enunciation, etc. again, thanks for all you do, etc.!

If your plasma cutter won't work on your generator it may be because the output of your generator is dirty. Some cheap generators have such lousy output many sensitive electronics will not work on them. The invertor type generators have very nice output that won't harm sensitive electronics. The same is true of invertors. You may need to put a temp sensing fan on your invertor to help keep it cool in service.
