It's just a meme: plug a precision drive to anything and you can dj0nt Back to the main point, if you're busting the bank, I'd go for an invective by peavy. That thing sounds wonderful, although I think it's a bit overpriced. Guitars, any of the Jackson signatures that Misha runs, preferably with juggernauts (sidenote, juggs sound massive and clear), they play well from what I've heard, although I have never owned one of those. A precision drive added, and you have a more than decent periphery rig.

I appreciate this simply because the idea is to replicate the tone and sound not necessarily just buy everything they have endorsed and use as models and bam easy. This is more to the people complaining that they're not actually using the gear the band uses.

I feel like you made the EVH 5150 sound more like a Peavey 5150 and I really dig it! Kind of like how I used my HX Effects to put a Mesa 5 band EQ in the loop of my amp to make it sound more like a Recto or a Mark amplifier.

I have that white Charvel near the beginning and it is an aaaaaawesome guitar. No fret dressing needed. Neck is super smooth and action is perfect

I got the similar snow white Charvel dk 24 floyd rose hh. Best neck and sounds like a guitar 3x the price. I added a brass block/killswitch/luminlay offsets. This one is a keeper.

A G for the first two records he used mainly two things: orange rockerverb 2x12 combo. Line 6 pod multi effects. He was on of the first to really jump on the multi effect bandwagon. Like i said easy. He actually didnt use a lot of pedals. I dont think he really does now though either

I would like to see Rabea & Matt explain how to get the different sounds on a Boss Kantana. From using the signal chain for various pedals and which pedals to use to get various tones. From SRV to Megadeath. For a beginner it is very hard to figure it all out and it is important to have a reference to use to make using this amp enjoyable instead of being a miserable experience. EDIT: Show me how to make it chug. lol

If you guys want to do something unique and rarely if not never done on youtube, you should sound like Sleater-Kinney. They're a guitar only trio that tunes down to C# and play really hooky but also jagged riffs (check out songs from "The Woods" and "Dig me Out"". I highly recommend checking them out, they're the best!

Well done guys, I've seen both episodes (BY and WITHOUT) and you've managed to come pretty close. One little detail was forgotten: in a couple of interviews Joe DP specifically mentioned he leans heavily on the use of a noise gate as well ("It's my best friend"). Cool btw how you managed to get rid of all the amp noise in between without using one

Because he needs to sound like gojira, not spend as much money as possible, and they have to work with what they have in stock at the shop or sometimes warehouse, Corey uses Seymour Duncans so matt picked a Seymour Duncan loaded guitar which happened to be an ltd

Never played a charvel but jackson is my favourite \m/ mostly because its my first guitar of my own, previously I've borrowed my brothers guitars for extended amounts of time
