WoW! I learned a lesson from you today, Kyle. I have known that there is power in the words we speak and assumed as such or more so in song. Each voice conveys a message that may be similar or opposite to that of another artist singing the same lyrics. I have never listened to any of the "Disturbed" music until today. I searched out their version after listening to yours. And then went to the original artists's version by Simon and Garfunkel. I remembered the last one from my childhood. For me S&G's was a poetic folk type of 'make you think' 60's music with depth. Disturbed took it to a whole new level--as deep as you can go--left me feeling "disturbed." Kyle, your voice, your version, conveyed to me with depth, to Wake Up and take notice of where we are in this world ~ to see the things that need to change ~ to break the silence ~ to be the change that we want others to see. It left me stirred with hope not disturbed with hopelessness. Again, Kyle, thank you for blessing my day with your special gift!

For now I would suggest getting some recording software and sing with the music in headphones, then edit it together in the software, your voice unfortunately gets dimmed by the music as it is at the moment.
