This is Sound On Set with Bubblebee Industries, where we go behind the scenes in the sound industry to see the workflow of location sound professionals under the pressures of set.
In this video, sound mixer Ammar Al-Zeer from Cable Sound Studios, kindly invited us on set during his shoot with world-famous broadcaster, Al Jazeera, for one of their flagship programmes, "The Interview".
In preparation for his shoot with Al Jazeera, Ammar discusses his on-set workflow with Aj, and how he tackles live translations using The Sidekick In-ear Monitor, as well as his tools for hiding lavalier microphones, including The Lav Concealer microphone mount and The Invisible Lav Covers - Fur Outdoor microphone wind protection.

that in-ear system is interesting I have to look it up. I get the impression that he hast to deal with a large amount of Muslim folks it's interesting the brief glimpse we got at how he handles the female talent. Would've loved to have a bit more chat on that. It's similar but different to what I've seen elsewhere with that sprinkling of seasoning that makes it specific to local requirements.

You can read more on The Sidekick here: www.bubblebeeindustries.com/collections/the-sidekick-ifb-in-ear-monitor We did have some more behind the scenes footage of them talking that we would have liked to include it but Baroness Warsi was not wired up with a mic and therefore the audio was unclear. Ultimately it’s about getting to know the background and culture of the talent and asking what the talent is comfortable with. It’s also important to give clear instructions to the talent on how to use the equipment and where to place it for clear audio. Hope this helps - Bubblebee Industries
