worked for me - in the beginning I played this through the night, listened one session during the day... now I do a session every morning. The resonance of this particular video seemed to match the pitch of ringing in my ear. I think that's why this particular video worked for me, while the others did not

I developed tinnitus due to artillery. I'm service connected for it and have listened to sounds for the better part of this journey beginning in 1972. I also have a hearing disability and wear aids that do not allow me to put on a head set to listen, so the VA gave to me an iCom transmitter into which I plug my MP3 player loaded with various water and nature sounds that transmit into my hearing aids through the iCom. I highly recommend getting one if you wear hearing aids. Mike Petrof created tinnitus mitigation CDs years ago which are not easy to find. Six CDs cost $80 at the time I bought them, and I find they are the closest match to what I hear in my head/ears. Definitely, for me, sound therapy is the key to maintaining my sanity. I even while I am at work.

I developed tinittus through hearing lost after two operations i went through when I was about 11. I know there really isn't a cure but we really just need to try and cope with it but it can be hard at time. I usually find it hard to go to sleep at night so I'm using things like this to try and get through it but I can't really find anything that is louder than the bloody ringing noises in ma ears

Sound therapy is the best option, I'd say. Listen to recordings that best mitigate the sound in your head/ears and you'll find you can break from hearing yourself and begin to associate the ringing as an outside noise. This process leads to what is known as habituation. Several websites online help those with tinnitus, one of which is the Tinnitus Talk Support Forum.

It's not a cure you don't hear you're ringing in the ears while you're listening to death but the next day comes back so what's the point I don't get it I can turn on my music and not here my bussing in my ears

@@ursulamullikin4723 everyone has different tinnitus. If I play music, it just comes through. But you can play it loud, but that's dangerous for making it worse. This shower on low volume works for me. I can still watch TV while this running softly on a small headphone. It keeps me less anxious.

I suppose he sees that as no cure because the damage has been done and supposedly there is no operation to properly repair the damage which would be a cure, but training the brain to compensate, the symptoms are possibly permanently gone and you have no loss in hearing. That sounds like a cure to me.
