My tinnitus doesn't sound Iike crickets. Mine sounds like Cicadas, However, I've been using your videos as a self help I have not been to a Dr for any actual diagnosis. I can get not only relief but actual silence for 2 or 3 days at a time. But I have a layered problem. In addition to the sound of Cicadas I also have the high pitch sound ranging between 8,000 to 14,000 hz. If I can get the sound of Cicadas to go silent then I proceed to listen to sound therapy within those HZ ranges to match what's in my head. If I do it correctly then my head goes completely silent so that the only thing I hear is what I'm actually listening to. Conversations, Music, Tv etc.

For someone who has tinnitus, there is nothing wrong in listening to these sound therapy. It helps you a lot since it diverts your brain into listening to other noises. What I would suggest to those who suffer from it is keep believing that this is temporary and just continue with your normal day routine. The more you think and focus on your tinnitus, the more anxious you will get and the more you will hear the sound. Stay away from stress as it will help you a lot from recovering. In over a month of experiencing it, I have seen significant improvement that I can barely hear the noise anymore. Cheer up and keep praying!

That was my gut instinct as well. I've been a 24/7 sufferer for a couple of months last year but forced myself to get busy getting distracted (especially if there is noise of any kind in ur distraction). And within a couple of weeks it was gone. Now, it has come back, over a year after that, but I'm confident I can treat it before it becomes something closer to permanent

The sound in question would really irritate me. It's constantly present in my mind, and it's not something I enjoy. Instead, I prefer to use sound markers and listen to gentle waves and the occasional chime, which are soothing and relaxing. That particular sound, however, is not for me.

Absolute rot! I've been a sufferer for over 10yrs now. I don't focus on it, nor do I worry about it. It's just part of my life. HOWEVER. If I could stop it even for a few minutes it would be a MASSIVE relief. Hearing that high pitched tone 24/7/365 does get in the way of my hearing and as I get older the degradation is increasing. So. It's NOT temporary at all!

I’ve had Tinnitus in my left ear since I was eighteen and blew it out with loud music on headphones. Fifty-six now. I’ve lived it with it so long. For those newly suffering. Worry not, in time your brain ignores it, and you're able to focus on other things as well as go on with life. But it will always be there in the background. I’ve tried everything in all that time to find relief. Wow, Tinnitus Shimmer. This sound therapy REALLY does offer deep relaxing temp relief! I’m impressed. Nice Job! Young Folks. TURN DOWN THE MUSIC. Believe me, it's not worth blowing out your ear drums. I was stupid. It took me nearly a decade to get a good night's sleep. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

I have had it since i was a little kid, i dont know if it was from having multiple ear infections really young or having tubes in my ears. But Your right after a while your brain just ignores it, the only time it really gets to me is if i am somewhere really quite. or at night when i try to sleep. but what i have done to fight that is to sleep with a louder fan to drown it out.

Shooting guns , loud music , power tools was my downfall. I’ve had this ringing going back as far as I can remember. I stumbled across this type of sound therapy on KZbin a year ago. Just found this one. It’s recorded loud enough that I can hear. So many are not. And yes , your brain learns to deal with it during the day. But when it’s super quiet, mine is loud and constant. I should sleep well tonight.

Wow, you sound like me…I’ve also got tinnitus in my left ear since being a teen and I’m 56 also! I’m not sure what caused mine…whether it’s due to me having a mastoid when I was a teen or with me poking in my ears a lot (lol, I know, I know), It’s tiring hearing constant ringing.

I'm glad that you have found relief. Just be aware that medically deafening yourself does not get rid of tinnitus. "While tinnitus may seem to occur in your ear, the phantom sounds are instead generated by your brain, in an area called the auditory cortex."

Just a heads up, but deaf people can also suffer from tinitus. Going medically deaf won't cure you. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9650103/ Tinitus is caused by the brain, and severing your nerves won't cure it.

Why does it help you to hear an audio of the same sound you hear with your tinnitus? I hear loud, high pitched whistle/cricket sounds and I don’t like to listen to cricket sounds because it just makes it double annoying. Instead, I listen to videos with the opposite sounds. So for me, it helps to listen to low pitch sounds like the noise a tractor makes when going over rocks (trrrrrrr). It cancels the high pitch noise in my head. I don’t understand why people would like to “match” their tinnitus

Thanks very much for your video. I've suffered with T for about 30 years or more and as many people have commented, my sound is very similar to the one on this treatment video. Mine used to come on at bedtime but would usually last for less than a minute if i was lucky. Sine having a heart attack and a quadruple heart bypass last year, my T has been constant and impossible to ignore. I'm shocked to see so many comments connecting T to stress, which was a big contributor to my heart attack and I've been as stressed since surgery, having suffered many set-backs which haven't ended yet. I'm listening to this video now and hope I'll sleep better tonight, although a current digestive tract infection and chest pain may stop me from sleeping well for another week or so anyway. I've had tinnitus for many years now.. maybe 2 decades .. my advice to everyone that has it is that try not to let it bother you as there is NO CURE no matter who says what. Instead , think of it like - as long as I hear this sound , I KNOW I AM ALIVE and it's great to be alive. You usually hear it louder when it's really quiet (probably just before going to sleep) so take a positive note and know that if you stop hearing this sound , you are most likely not alive anymore .

Battling chronic tinnitus resonating at 13000 Hz, my struggle intensified dramatically when I decided to discontinue my antidepressants. The relentless, piercing noise became even more prominent and persistent. In my quest for a solution, I discovered a KZbin video that advocated for a carb-free diet to alleviate tinnitus symptoms. With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a shot and spent a day without consuming any carbohydrates. On the same day, I took 6mg of melatonin to help with my sleep, not intending it for tinnitus. To my astonishment, I woke up the next morning to find that my tinnitus had drastically diminished by about 90%. Since that day, I've been adhering to a strict no-carb diet and taking 6mg melatonin before bedtime. The outcome has been consistently positive so far. While this is my individual journey and might not apply to everyone, my hope is that my experience might bring some comfort and potential relief to others grappling with this challenging condition.

@@monde1208 This story is where I got the idea from and I'll tell you right now - it works. It doesn't bother me at all anymore. During Yuri Gagarin's historic Vostok 1 mission in 1961, a malfunction in the spacecraft's radio transmitter created a relentless, maddening beeping noise. Gagarin, the first human in space, found himself trapped with this relentless sound for what must have felt like an eternity, enduring it for days on end. In this extreme isolation, he described the noise as neither inside his head nor outside, but everywhere and nowhere at once. Remarkably, Gagarin chose to transform this relentless cacophony into a form of music, an act of sheer mental fortitude that helped him maintain his sanity throughout the mission.

My tinnitus came on about a year and a half ago and it has been absolutely horrible. (Sensitive topic warning), it has been so intense that there have been times I’ve thought of game overing my life. No worries, I’m safe and dealing. It just has been an incredibly difficult road and the audiologist I go to has been so dismissive. “Oh, there’s nothing wrong, it’s just something that happens and you’re in no danger, it’s benign.” I’ve tried many things, nothing makes it stop. For someone with an extreme anxiety and panic disorder, who is already sensitive to loud noises, it is not benign. It is, on some days, crippling and on others it’s just maddening. It’s never quiet anymore. I’m giving this a try with hopes it will help.

as someone who developed tinnitus and have anxiety disorder, something I do is to accept the sound. Dont try to deny it, as soon as you treat it as something that is in your life, maybe you can start to deal properly to it. directly, it does not represent something that can kill you, so it is safe. Hope you can overcome this problem, either if its permanent or if it disappears one day. Remember, anxiety can cause the tinnitus to be a bigger problem than it is and tinnitus can create more anxiety. You have to skip this terrible cycle. i've been there, believe me. This is amazing, I been for the last 5 years having the same issue of tinnitus, no severe symptoms but from time to time with stress and neck pain gets worse. I got to say thanks!!!! This noise is helping me sleep and more. I got better rest and that helps me to have better energy next day. Thanks for sharing this. Blessings for all of you guys.

I have had insomnia and tinnitus for around 12 years. Insomnia makes it worse sometimes. Plus it is hard to sleep with the noise sometimes. A vicious cycle indeed.

Just leaving this here. I am on the path of recovery. I start to have more and more good days. some of those days were like as if I didnt have T at all. I need to use sound therepy less and less overtime. Typing this tho made it slightly fade in awareness tho but really minor and easily ignored once i move on. I expect a bunch more spikes. but they are less and less intrusive and the duration is also often shorter. I am getting there, and hope you will get better soon as well. Wish you all the best. and try to stay positive. (not always easy but try to find small things that do make you smile even if its for a second or 2)

What helped u to recover
@ylshavazthuee1088
@ylshavazthuee1088 Жыл бұрын
@@vinodmeena6876 I got noise induced T due to prolonged exposure to loud sounds. what works for me is to keep being active. especially phycical work. if it too much for one day its okay to hide behind a masking sound. until you can face it again. As I said before is trying to stay positive. T feeds of negativity and you will get pulled into a negative spiral (hardest part by far) For better or worse I Started playing video games. especially fast paced ones. they really take the mind of it for a while as you need to focus your mind on the game instead of your T. Kinda eats away at my social life tho now that my T is backing off A Problem is that you wont see results fast and thats really demoralising. and the fact for me that its not a liniear process get better. for me its feels very random. 1 day good 3 days bad, 4 days good. 1 day bad. 8 days really bad. 3 days good. etc. And I said sound therepy before, I meant playing sound in the background on youtube just below the threshhold of my T. Avoid earbuds and headphones they aggrevate the T after some time (for me at least) Not going to lie. its difficult and it may seem impossible at times. But its possible for your brain to desensitize the T and starts fading away like it was never there. The first time it took me ~5 years to habituate. Second time i messed up at a festival. and took me 1 year to habituate 60%~ less bothersome from where it started. I still expect it to drop even further. Setbacks are part of recovery. dont worry if you had a good period and get hit with a spike. (still annoying tho) One last thing dont set deadlines. You set your self up with dissapointment and dread. Sorry for my incoherrent wall of text. And wish you the best on your path of recovery.

I’ve been suffering off and on with tinnitus for roughly 6 months, until recently, it’s all the time now. I’ve been going deaf in my right ears. I’m down to about 10%. It’s scary. And that’s the side I have tinnitus. I listened to this video last night and it seemed to help. I’m going to keep trying with it. Thanks for everyone’s encouragements on the comment thread. I appreciate you all. God bless.

Ive had tinnitus for 5 years in both ears due to ear infection and noise exposure and my advice is don't let it get worse with the biggest offender being ototoxic medication which in my three experiences has made my tinnitus sharper, louder and rawer/ more piercing and, although after 2 - 3 months it subsided to a base/ manageable level, each time it failed to settle back down to what it was before taking the medication. Second offender is sudden sharp loud noises which I have had quite a few of but never lasting damage/ always settled back down to what it was previously after 2 - 3 weeks, sometimes its only lasted hours then settled back down (I carry foam ear plugs to go out and if I'm going somewhere I suspect could be loud I also take ear defenders). Second bit of advice is make sure that you don't have wax in your ears or near or on you eardrum as in my experience multiple times after getting wax out my tinnitus has become almost inaudible (wax removed via an ENT using manual extraction as apparently microsuction is too loud near the eardrum which can aggravate tinnitus). As well using distilled water ear drops put in a glass pipette bottle helps to remove ear wax. I have experienced severe tinnitus in both ears for extended periods but as for my tinnitus now my left ear is pretty inaudible its only when I lay on the pillow is when it becomes louder and bothersome but I can sleep through it, however my right ear is mild/ moderate and when I lay on the pillow it becomes quite severe, although I can still sleep through it depending on how tired I am (I sleep with 9000Hz white noise and a fan). The best way I can describe the tinnitus in my right ear when not laying down is by using audionotch's tuner on 9550Hz at 1% volume and computer volume at 24 although the tinnitus doesn't sound quite like that and its not as pronounced as the pure tone/ the tinnitus has more of a dispersed effect.

I wish you that it'll soon be gone! Do you mean that ototoxic medication made your tinnitus worse than before after use or did it just come back the same as before.

I developed tinnitus 2 weeks ago , most likely comes from brain because of my job truck driver for 15 years. Lots none sleep nights , depression anxiety . Appointments to ENT , neurological appointment . First 6 days I cud not sleep at all . Still they can’t find noting 😢 and I got prescription for gabapentin 200 morning and 200 night for high anxiety 😢 I know it’s ototoxic but what options I have ?

I'm a bit worried about what you say about micro suction as I'm having that done in three weeks time. I thought the idea was that it might alleviate the tinnitus. What do you mean by "removed by an ENT using manual extraction?" I might have to look into that.

This is a good one…thanks! I have been using the bundle for a few weeks. Sound therapy does give relief and takes your mind off of the T even though it is another sound. I have learned lots of helpful things for living with tinnitus from Dr Mark and the group sessions. Looking forward to the app! Regular hearing aids from my local in person audiologist were $3000, $5000 and $7000 (good, better, best) with a comment that hearing aids “ might help tinnitus some” and no mention of sound therapy or any other direction. When I did further research, I found Treble. My days and nights are improving. Don’t give up!

I have had tinnitus for about 35 years, I have learned to ignore it so generally it doesn't bother me much, but I would prefer to live without it. This shimmer sound has been the best masking sound for me, couldn't hear any ringing at all and after 15 minutes there was a masking of my tinnitus for a while. Thank you

@@treblehealth Love it. I use white, pink, and brown noise every day, when I make music. Many of my drum sounds foundations are made from it. I also use it elsewhere. In fact, I just got Roland's tiny AIRA S-1 synthesizer, which is based upon Rolands legendary synth the SH-101, which has been used by many great artists, for decades, in part because one of it's oscillators is just white noise, which is mixed together in varying amounts, with a square, a sawtooth, and a sub-oscillator. Noise is powerful, used in the foundation of a synth sound. 😎

My tinnitus is constant and overtakes almost all other noises. It definitely could get frustrating, like being buried alive with no hope of escaping. But, I can breathe. After all these years, I have naturally been able to ignore it. Even when I am conscious of the ringing, it's no big deal. I go on with my life.
