yeaahh...you almost right Mister....,,,the Gamelan(specially Bali/Java instrument) they had some spiritual energy !!specially in Bali Gamelan not only for entertainment,,,but for religious ceremony in the Temple too,,,the Baliness people respect the Gamelan,,so when they playing the instrument...they're already one soul with the instrument !!😊😊...if you wanna know more about Gamelan...come visit Bali,,,Baliness people 80%(male) knows how to playing Gamelan and 80%(female) knows how to dance (Baliness dance)

Happy to know you enjoyed & reacted to Gamelan musical ensemble. These metallophones are particularly from Java & Bali. This performance is Balinese one which is fast in tempo the sound is vigorous, lively & dynamic like progressive rock yet mistical vibes. The instrument which is played on the floor you saw is ceng - ceng/ cymbal that give dynamic sound. While oppositely Javanese gamelan is slower in the tempo & the sound ismore relaxing( pentatonic scale/ slendro). We can create also in Java more lively sound by playing Gamelan pelog/ diatonic scale. Nowadays gamelan is spread & taught in the curriculum of several universities in US, Europe, Australia, etc. Thank you brother Mustafa for your amazing reaction.

These gambelan ochestra was held for the accompany the ritual ceromony in Bali island by hindu religion. These gambelan named with gong kebyar. These for accompany balinesess dances too. In Bali we have many others gambelan such as gambelan angklung. Gambelan slonding. Gambelan semar pegulingan. And many more.
