​@@amd.amdamdhen. just because they have a fairly large comb doesn't mean they're a rooster. usually the best way to tell is to look at them from the side, since they may have very beautiful tails, their feathers will seem a little more pointed especially visible around the wings, and their coloration is very eye-catching compared to hens of the same breed.

I didn't know chickens could do that! As a young kid we took care of a couple chickens and the hen was very friendly and sweet, but if she ever did this I don't remember it. I would love to own chickens again someday, just as pets. They're so soft!

My son has a beautiful parrot, I have 4 chickens. I would choose chickens any day over parrots! Chickens are affectionate, I compare them to puppies! Plus they give you eggs!
