This is the best Stingray clone so far (even if it's in a P bass body). I bet the pickup is positioned at the same distance from the bridge as in MM basses.

@@RobMLyon is that right? I love my Stingray special but if I get another one honestly EBMM is charging so much money with so few options these days it's hard to justify. And I really want a fretless, which EBMM is uncommitted to doing and I bet Sandberg would. How do the two preamps compare? Does it have the same sparkling highs as a Stingray ?

@@57precision I have three Stingray Special 4H and when I played this bass in the store, I wished I knew sooner. The Stingray Special 4H is a fantastic bass but for playability, comfort, value and workmanship, give me the Sandberg Central! I'm in love.
