@jarczan The sound is definitely subjective for sure , But the roasting of necks actually makes scientific sense as it removes the moisture and makes the next quite a bit more stable right off the bat… And all of it has way more science behind it then Fender 10 years ago claiming that the lighter paint ( cheaper) on the American standards help the wood breathe better and resonate

Looks great - but the mix isn't great though - guitar too loud (typical) and can't HEAR the bass hardly. I would love to hear the mix done correctly and to enjoy the thump.

It still sounds like a regular bass xD I won't be shocked if after some years the roasted wood theory will come out as a marketing bullshit in order to sell lesser quality woods for higher prices ;)

What theory? Its just the normal process of aging wood but accelerated by heat. Of course it won't affect tone but it will be stable
