Received a my black fretless 5 booster with the ebony lined fingerboard. Got rid of the flats within an hour of unpacking it. Put on NYXL’s. As an ex pro cello player it was like coming home. For heavy rock and metal it’s brutal. The B has prehistoric fatness and clarity. I’m planning my next fretless. A vm 5 string ……. Or …….

Not me l. I want to see and HEAR all the variations I possibly can. Makes planning my next bass much easier. The rare tone woods are a total mystery to me.

@@i-adonald1499 I’m a one bass guy, sandberg tm5 is the one, watching these is kinda like scrolling through escorts while married, thankfully they’ve got pedal videos too.

Interesting analogy. I have a range of instruments that I regularly play. Keys, cello, bass and others. i currently have five basses. My wife actually encourages me with my instruments. I like playing funk, jazz, metal, hard rock and classical. I keep instruments i use or sell them. one bass only would not work for me.

@@i-adonald1499 well, I never keep more than one type of instrument, and I know my bass in and out, sandbergs are known for reliability and it’s the perfect tool for jazz and metal, that’s all I do, the rest I could eq my way around if the need arises, also eich amp is the most versatile one I’ve came across. Plus the maintenance of one bass through a year is troublesome enough already, strings cost alone is in the hundurds, 5 should easily go past thousand, and an amp worth of strings per year is a bit much.
