Excellent video comparison . I love SOUNDCORE speakers and I have a lot of them. That said I also have two of the SKULLCANDY BARREL XT'S. I got them during the Black Friday sale at Walmart and they are excellent. I only paid $79.00 for each one. Sounds to my ears the SKULLCANDY BARREL is the clear winner in this comparison.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews Honestly Jay, if I would’ve never watched your comparison video between it and the X20, I’d probably agree with you. Seriously though, in my own opinion, I feel like that speaker isn’t really worth any more than $1499.99 - $159.99.

To my ears the sound core is a little muffled or muddy I would say. And a little too warm for my taste. Skullcandy is brighter but a little messy sounding. Great job great video keep up the good work.

I think that's more or less what I stated. 😆 I do prefer using custom EQ to adjust the upper mids and highs over using the stock Soundcore Signature EQ

They need a price change in the future for boom 2 plus to $189.00 $250.00 is to much.

I wouldn’t even pay that much. Watch the comparison video between the BoomPlus 2 & the W-KING X20. It’s on Jay’s Straight Up Reviews. The X20 literally smoked it. The X20 was 5 actually closer to 6 db louder, sounding much cleaner & richer, with good stereo separation. The. X20 retails for $319.99 on Amazon, but it’s routinely marked down to $224.99. I own one of these speakers, & all I can is if size & weight aren’t an issue, for the money, you won’t find a speaker that sounds as good at the loudest volumes. It’s rated at 200 watts.

Soundcore sound is more natural and clearer....no distortion and backround noise ....in short soundcore is more pure sound.

After hearing the comparison between the X20 & the Boom Plus 2 all I can say is that the Boom Plus 2 isn’t worth $249.99. They’ll have to drop the price if they want to move those speakers. The X20 literally mopped the floor with it.

The Boom 2 plus has a Deep Bass Lack and Sounds muffled. In Germany you can get it already for 160 Bucks with Coupon

@@CANADA-fq9fh The thing is that you can buy speakers that cost less, sound better & get louder. I’m thinking that they’ll have to drop the price down to $159.99- $169.99.
