Hello my friend nice information , one question that I didn't understood is for example is it possible channel 1 and 2 send to master so the audience hear from the speakers and then on my headphnes on the monitor master I want to hear only channel one and not the 2 , is it possible ??
@RecordingStudio92 жыл бұрын
Yes, In Monitor Output Type, press down Stereo Phones and Source select, up for monitor mix and down for master. Then use the main channel 1 and 2 level for audience, but for monitor level, only turn up channel 1.

Thanks :) I need to use the Aux out in stereo but not for headphones - its for recording to an unbalances line level input. Will that work ? I have had mixed result using a headphone out for line level inputs (sound often gets bloated)

This is due to impedance mismatch and additional voltage on the headphone output. You can try and have lower volume for the aux output set as headphone output.

Looks like a pretty good small mixer, I could not find a price on Amazon Canada because they were sold out. I looked elsewhere but sold out those places, too. Great video and information, I'll be watching part 2, when it is uploaded. I want to see if the driver is better than the ASIO4ALL, what it can do for the USB stereo output...

They are AU$249 rrp and I bought it on special for AU$189. Driver is much better than ASIO4ALL in many ways, including near zero latency.

This is a Mixer/Audio Interface.... 2X2 2 in Two Out.. so pretty much the same with regular audio interface out there. Focusrite 2i2, Behringer UMC series... If you need more than 2 channels for multitrack then get the Notepad 12FX which is a 4x4 usb interface as well.

Firstly, I must ask, what is the DAC/ADC like? Specs please. I ain't buying anything less than 24bit 192khz, and I prefer 32bit 768khz+. For obvious reasons. Also, circuitry is important, as in isolators, etc. *I haven't watched the video yet, though I will, but I mean, 20 minutes... I already have a solid USB audio interface with 24bit 192khz support (I use a 32bit 384khz DAC currently, so), dual XLR/6.3mm input/outputs, 3.5 aux for monitor, hi-z, etc that cost $45...so I need some serious convincing. Yeah no offense, but after watching the video. I'd rather get a much better basically unknown South African mixer and I reckon my audio interface is more functional than the "soundcraft" thing in practice. Have a good day though. I've tested dual reference mics, dynamic mics, DI guitars, monitoring, etc. Obviously with splitters I could use more than just two inputs.

Can MONITOR output be used as Aux/fx output? To send xlr mic input 1 to some external effects and go back through 2/3 input and then to pc?
@RecordingStudio92 жыл бұрын
Technically yes you can. Just make sure the Monitor level for inputs 2/3 is at zero, or you will create audio feedback loop. If possible, set the FX unit to 100% wet, as you will already get the dry signal from Ch 1.

Hi Vatche How does the notepad5 compare with the Behringer Q502 and Yamaha AG03 which you also have? Request to please recommend a very-affordable USB interface/mixer that has the compressor-EQ option. one mic input is minimum, more are don't care options. I will be using it with Linux Operating System
@RecordingStudio94 жыл бұрын
1. Q502USB has limited Comp and EQ section. Cheap and easy to use. Should work with Linux OS 2. AG03 has proper Comp and 4 band parametric EQ and more. Need PC to change them. Not sure of Linux OS drivers or Control Software.

@@RecordingStudio9 Thank you for your reply, I will explore if the comp+EQ setting is saved in Mixer or the App has to be always connected to the mixer for them to work. Initially i was thinking of UMC22 but then the additional features in Mixers seemed nicer to have
