This is a fantastic company. I fixed my SoundDock with their repair kit in less than an hour! I hesitated for 2 weeks before sending the parts all the way to England, but I should have sent it right away, because when I did it only took like a week to send it off and get it back. They turned it around the same day! The only thing I regret was not going for the iphone charging base. I would recommend it since it will allow your old iPhone to charge and play your online music apps continuously.

Great video and your website on the diagnostic wizard is brilliant. My first series of the sound dock was making some thumping noise. Based on your video and the diagnostic, the cable was plugged wrongly. I was this close to donating / recycling this sound dock. So thank you once again.

My issue was the ribbon cable from the dock to the speaker area. It was a relatively easy fix, but best accomplished by removing the metal speaker screen first so you can get a better grip on it.

hello i damaged my bose sounddock rescently and the connector has completley broken off. Do you have an website that i can go on to and are you based in the uk. It recognizes theres an Ipod attached and its charging, but no sound. What could be wrong? I resolderd the connections to where the dock plugs in and checked them with a multimeter.

Ive had my sound dock for years but havent used it. When I recently switched it on, I noticed it doesnt charge my iphone 4s. The connector at the back is black on one of the pins so I think that might be the issue, although Im not 100% sure. Is there a quick fix for this that I can do myself or will I have to take it for repairs?

I’m using a lap top power supply on a bose sounddock 2 when I plug it in a blue light blinks once but no power

The SoundDock II requires a Dual-Rail + 18 and -18 Volt DC power supply. A lap top supply wont work. The concentric connector has 3 connections - 1. The outside of the cylindrical body. (-18V) 2. The inside of the cylindrical body. (+18V) 3. Centre Pin. (0V).

Our website can be found here www.invebo.com/index.html and we do not accept whole docking stations to be sent due to the extreme postal charge this would entail however we do repairs for US customers on their sound processor and docking connector. This is where you remove these and send them to us to diagnose and repair.

I have bose dock series 1 and its giving a wierd noise like a high pitch.its coming from adapter and amplifier increase the sound.the sound irritates on low volumes.bose sucks.bose engineers say buy a new adapter after that the problem not solved.and the engineer said its like that

hello. You have sound processor failure. Very common. It is called the "power and no sound fault" It is intermittent , getting steadily worse then no sound at all. The sound processor needs modification and hardware upgrade. See the sound processor diagnostics video in the tech guide section of the invebo site,
