Actually Jasons first gig was Sept. 22, 1989 at the Club With No Name (The Probe) in Hollywood. The next 2 shows on Sept. 23rd & Sept. 24th are on youtube (with Jason)

Happy Soundgarden day. I still consider it to be a miracle that I saw them underage at a licensed gig In Toronto on this day. The club owner showed up and we were all minors so he actually let us in. This show is as close that I'll ever get to having a copy of that. Whoever managed the Apocalypse Club will forever be a saint in my books.

That's great to hear, I love that song. I think the only reason it's considered a rarity is because of how few recordings of it survived. Any really cool stuff you remember them playing that you haven't seen popup on youtube or anywhere else?

Yes, there are few recordings (audio) or video of them singing Mood For Trouble. Ive watched/listened to 6 of em. It may not be that more recordings dont exist, just they arent on youtube. And sometimes they sang Mood For Trouble when it was a short setlist. Toward the end of touring they mixed it up alot because i imagine they had burn out!

This is a great recording. What a tiny place that was, and I can't believe Soundgarden played there and I didn't know anything about them yet. Big Dumb Sex is a great, great rock song!

I loved that place, saw so many bands there. Motorhead, Anthrax, Slayer. Megadeth, Saxon, Suicidal Tendencies, Wendy O. Williams, Gun's N Roses.
