+premo cheba Generally speaking Soundgarden often emphasise that they consider themselves as hard rock or alternative rock. But if you watch the Grammy ceremony at the time when they received their recognition Chris said to the audience "we are a metal band ..." Personally I enjoy the band's music and Chris' voice so much that it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. However many fans do consider them metal, so I leave it at that!

Oh hell yeah! They perfected it here!! The begrudging tone Chris had taken accentuated with the perfect delivery at the end of each line really brought the song out in a brand new light! This take, should've made the album cut.
