27 and this stuff still doesnt get old. I remember having bad days, coming home and sitting on my couch and going through the albums one song at a time. Always made me feel better. Grunge was really therapeutic to me because it addressed so many sentiments and issues that were not covered in any other genre, and really havent been covered as well since IMO

I still can't believe that I never got to see him perform live. Literally a week before he passed away I went online to try to get tickets to go see Soundgarden. they weren't performing in Chicago or Milwaukee on his last tour so I remember thinking well they will be back soon to play my area on the next tour. Then I was driving to work and it came on the radio "Chris Cornell dies at age 52". I was so stunned. That was a sad day at work that's for sure. Chris was the best Rock singer of all time hands down.

Dude, Tool, SG are two unbelievable, and my all-time favorite bands, but Chris' unique voice and lyrics are deadly, and are beyond Maynard's greatness. Maynard is a God, but Chris is THE God! Let's not talk about Carey's & Cameron's makes-me-drool drumming, Jones' and Thayil's classic heavy awesome riffing, because that's what they both have in common which makes them the greatest But Chris is like a morning coffee with his voice, I don't relax with nothing, like I do while listening him sing!
