Someone shared your cover of "Slaves and Bulldozers" on Reddit, so I've been watching every single video you have on here for a few hours now. I was a teenager in the 1990's and grew up with all these bands. They're still my favorite now. I don't know if you have done these bands already, but I'd love to hear you cover Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. I think you could do them very well. I wonder how your voice would sound doing other great 90's bands like The Smashing Pumpkins or Green Day? Anyway, I just want you to know that I have subscribed and I have been playing your videos very loud on my stereo. You're covering these songs better than every other person I've heard, including people here in the U.S. which is really amazing. I think you could be on some of these "got talent" shows and win. Thank you for doing these, and Chris Cornell would love this I'm sure.

Grateful comment. thank you man. i also like Pearl Jam and STP and i tried to cover Pearl Jam before. but my voice didn't fit Eddie Vedder cause he is Baritone and he has lower voice. but i'm tenor so it was better to sing Layne and Chris. Smashing Pumkins and Green Day are great band indeed. but i'm not a big fan of them so i never tried to sing them haha.. anyway glad to hear things you said. thank you

How do you add distortion/vocal grit to your voice? You probably get this question a lot and I know its hard to explain and teach how the mechanisms of the voice works. But man your level of singing is my goal! Do you keep the vocal chords relaxed and use twang/nasal resonance while pushing with diaphragm to achieve vocal distortion? Man I just cant figure it out Do I have to push more?

For me a lot of it came from using the "intent" of yelling and lightly squeezing my vocal folds correctly while singing, all while singing FROM the diaphgram and stabiliizing my core for the pure sound. The trick is to be as relaxed as possible. DO an UNNNG sound, focus the nnn nasally and find the muscle that automatically pulls your cords together when you do unnng. That same muscle is what you should use while distorting, but remember, very lightly and above the voice box.

No, it's the complete opposite. I press the diaphragm to it doesn't rise, but I don't use the nasal sound as much as I can. Distortion is able to be added by increasing the proportion of falsetto, not by adding nasal sounds. Of course, many people misunderstand it as adding distortion while using the nasal sound. This is because, in general, the ratio of falsetto increases when you make a nasal sound. that's why many people have experienced adding distortion while they sound nasal sounds. but the key reason that allowed distortion to be added is the ratio of falsetto. if there is low ratio of falsetto in your sound. adding distortion gonna hurt your cords. When making an appropriate distortion-added sound to the rock, a sound with a high proportion of falsetto must be prepared in advance, and distortion must be added thereafter. Don't try to add distortion over a thick sound based that pop singers make. They make that sound to sing the pop genre and that's final object. No one can afford adding distortion without increasing the ratio of falsetto. When we listen to rock vocals, we can misunderstand that the sound is strong and thick because we hear the sound of the final result. But if that sound is C, the result of A(pure voice)+B (distortion). the power, pressure, and density of A are not the same as those of C. It is softer and has a high proportion of falsetto. There is a need for such training(to sound without nasal sounds) When singing becomes a habit by using the nasal sound, the sound becomes thin and floating, and heavy tones cannot be formed.
