Found these at Target for 16 bones. As a 40 (it doesn’t feel it) year old I am from the 80’s and 90’s and the nostalgia got me. For that price they’re pretty neat headphones. The eq adjustments are a plus. Also it’s nice not to have an in-ear headphone beating the shit out of my ears. The light weight part is why we wore these with Walkmans. Walkmans where still king until MP3 players. Discmans ate batteries and skipped if you walked or you drop it and the disc flew out scratching it up.

I Got these for 10 bucks. They're worth 10 bucks! I love them! they're good headphones for work (so you can hear people around you) the multi-connection support is very useful, I use this as a headset but I will probably purchase a Modmic (which quite literally would weight these super light things down) and I might just have a stock of these just to listen to serve as background noise for my walks to the store! I hope there's more people making designs like this

Your video reviews are some of the best thanks to your honesty and presentation. Was considering trying a pair but I bought a pair of Urbanears Hellas a month ago for $13.99 and cannot sacrifice the washable cushions, loudness and overall audio & build quality for the price paid. Looking forward to more headphone reviews from you always!!

Was born in '89 so I really didn't live through that walkman era. For the nostalgia (and my fake 80's memories) though, I'm sold.

I bought these at Target tonight. I found them on the clearance rack for $5.98 and I am very happy with these. Do they sound as good as they more expensive pairs? No, but they have pretty good sound for the price point. Bluetooth headphones don’t usually sound as good as wired ones anyway, so if I’m spending serious cash on headphones, it will be for a wired pair. These will be used mainly for the gym or on trips. Plus, I love the 80’s look, makes me nostalgic for my old Walkman,lol.

The Jlab Rewind Retro does not have a volume control. You can control its volume via the device it's connected with.

theyare great for playing on a cheap mp3 player when out and about working out, and the sounds can be adjusted by using the equalizer in the mp3 player, no they are not hi fi, but theyare decent for what i got em for and they're super comfortable for me, i miss old school plain headphones so badly, , this fit my needs when working out and knockin around town

It's amazing what JLab can produce for the money. These are friggin cool! I have the JLab Air Icons, which are hands down better then the JBL Free X and JBL T120TWS which I returned. The JLabs have better audio, better microphone, better battery life and MUCH better control! All for $60, name brands need to look out for JLab because they're making them all look bad.
@NEOGEOMVS6 жыл бұрын
Hey, Lily. In your written review, and mentioned a bit in this video, you mentioned the app and that you changed the EQ with it which is not true at all. The headphone EQ is changed by tapping the button three times. The app is just to warm up the headphones and purchasing JLab products, nothing more. Just thought I'd let you know. Other than that, loved the video.

These are 7/10 headphones. You will need a sound booster and sound mixer depending on the app, podcast, or mic audio of the original broadcast. The original idea of audio quality.

I kinda want these just because I manage to lose at least one per pair of every set of bud style headphones I buy. I must have spent over 500$ in the last 2-3 years on headphones just for me to lose them or have them break (ironically the pair that just stopped working was the most expensive I have ever bought at 200$.). I now buy the 25$ pairs of skulcandy wireless ones at wallmart. Plus, these are cool looking imo as someone who actually owned a fair few pairs of the real deal as a kid listening to my dad's old Metallica and guns and roses tapes.

Are these ok for gaming? or not the best due to the audio delay?

Not the best because delay, especially if you play rythm game. For casual gaming, maybe okay (I prefer cable headphone / headset for gaming)

Wait how do you think people in the 70s heard music? Nobody has portable music in the 70s that started in the 80s with walkman cassettes. So anybody.listening thru headphones in the 70s had super warm sounding studio headphones. These headphones are more of a 90s era thing. Well honestly these were the main headphone style up until around the iphone came out and ear buds got more popular which many people were not quick yo adopt because the early ear buds would always be falling out and nobody was use to things in theyre ear.
@ralphhross6 жыл бұрын
You're not exactly right, there were cheap head phones back in the 50's, 60's, etc. The first headphone came out in 1910 and since then there were good sets and lousy crummy ones.

Little Bobby is the worst but the personality that you had in this video was great. I was really looking for wireless alternatives to the portapros and you covered it perfectly.
@BigTeddy-om5em5 жыл бұрын
Would it be possible to change the drivers in these with koss porta pro drivers?
@paulkylliainen92824 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't make that much of a difference on the sound quality since the two are different kind of headphones. Porta pro being open back desing and these are closed.
