I like the open ear style. The way one of my ear is I have a hard time keeping a sealed earbud in place. Open ear style works good for me because I don't have to worry about them falling out. It's a bummer. Listen to music while eating a bowl of cereal and having your earbud fall in the cereal.

This whole line of headphones makes VERY LITTLE sense. I keep hearing people say well, they're for those who want to "be aware of their surroundings" which aside from the fact that 80% of people RARELY have ANY sort of situational awareness whatsoever because they walk through life with their faces GLUED to their phones. Putting that aside though....the people who say that act as if they have no idea that ANC headphones exist, and do you know what ANC headphones also do/have...it's CALLED AWARENESS MODE AND IT ALLOWS THE USER TO HEAR THINGS GOING ON AROUND THEM!! Plus you get all the benefits of regular headphones like ACTUAL GOOD SOUND QUALITY AND you can use the ANC functionality when you want as well. Outside of a small niche of people whom "don't like things in their ears" this was a product that was created to fix a problem that NEVER TRULY EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!! No I don't count the people who say in ear headphones don't "fit my ears" because that's a lie...they just haven't taken the time or energy to find the ones that DO FIT and I know they have ones that fit because if you want YOU CAN HAVE THEM CUSTOM MADE JUST TO FIT YOUR SPECIFIC EARS!!
