that CPU is old stuff compared with quantum computing chips, we are talking about computers capable to resolve mathematical equations in minutes or hours when the most powerful computer today (and I'm not talking about PCs or Laptops) can take decades or centuries to resolve the same equation, and we are not talking about science fiction, this is happening right now, every single major computing company is working in their own version of a quantum computer, some already have one and actually some companies are already taking advantage of this technology.

If you haven't already, it's worth reading Nick Bryant's book The Franklin Scandal. Is it about IT? No, but it is about those who govern us and who will be shaping and (perhaps temporarily) wielding this power.
