Not true, MH debuted in 1995, around same time as Slipknots Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat album as Corey Taylor was shifting over. CT did a lot of vocal work before that too, just like Rob Flynn from MH. Yeah sure, Slipknot only really went anywhere a couple years later with the Self titled album in '99, but regardless, this guys are the mid 90s og's. And anyway, MH had most of their respect lost in the late 90s and early 2000's when Rob took them really far into the Nu Metal realm with The Burning Red album. Soz for the bible btw lol, I just know a hell of a lot about these bands, MH and Slipknot are og's to me, both side by side cemented my love for metal when i was a young teen

Damn glad you loved it and you definitely need to check out more Machine Head. In particular, any and/or all of the songs from when Phil Demmel and Dave McClain (now former guitarist and drummer who were on this song) were members of the band. I was lucky enough the first time I saw Machine Head live was during their tour on this album. And they absolutely destroyed the stage and the crowd.

Bro these dudes came through and during this song an older cat in the pit fell and hit his head so hard on the floor he passed out for a bit. The band noticed right away and stopped the show so the guy can get hauled out. Thankfully the dude ended up being good. He actually came back to the show lol Mad respect for Machine Head these guys are badass. Incredible live as well😁

2:18 Trust me this song is super easy to play. Drop your guitar to Drop B Tuning and majority of the notes can be done by 1 finger. Other then that it’s just power chords and open harmonics. You’d be able to learn it in a week or 2, depending on how much time you put in practicing. Just remember play slowly and then as your muscle memory builds up you’d be able to play this is your sleep lol. Keep up with the awesome reactions my dude✌️

Hi from France Alex, (I am a metal head for sure) it's about few month I follow you on KZbin and you finally react to one of the best Machine Head song ever... I used to watch them 3 years ago in gig in Geneva (Switzerland) next to my place, and it was f..ckin awesome. I really appreciate your work, your open mind and hability to enjoy "spontaneously" (not sure this word exists) the sounds you're listening to. But I mean you are learning more and more in your metal journey it's enjoyable and the way you share is admirable. Like another comments, I advice you to react to the 1st songs of Blackening album : Clenching the Fist of Dissent "mind blowing". And next time if you would like to react a French metal band, it will be my pleasure to share you a song from the best French bands. Keep up the good work and receive my best positives vibrations... Up the Iron...
