What I like about Tobin is that his landscapes sound very organic, even though there is a lot of DSP going on. I love Richard Devine's stuff, but sometime's it's too VST-ish. Amon is the perfect contrast to that.

RD is more free form experimental. Tobin has a very specific theme he's running on and i've followed him since the early 2000s and i can say he's been extraordinarily consistent with that theme. the word "stale" is not in this man's dictionary.
