Great advice. Most of my psm's lend me their Panamic Maxi (the one you reviewed) with a lectrosonics transmitter, I'm currently using one on a TV series. And yeah I should have purchased a longer boom first. I'll probably get my own Maxi or KP16 when it wraps, my 9ft ktek is usually redundant for bigger shoots.
