Im going to buy one of these amps to power my sdr 18 right now I have a pioneer wired at 4ohns getting 350-400 watts so this amp should do the job

I tune each sub and amp different for each test. I have hundreds of amps and hundreds of subs and almost 1,000 videos and tests done.

@@carrickdubya4765 the gain just above halfway, the bass boost about halfway, the low pass almost all the way down, the sub sonic almost all the way down. Adjust when you get it going but you should not have to adjust it much. On your head unit don't add bass, mine is actually in the minus bass, and no loudness on, that's dirty power, you want the power coming from your amp.

I'm actually going to retest this tomorrow and do all new tests. I've done this a couple times and tried it in a car too. But I have much more knowledge of how to get a good reading now. It does somewhere in the 1200-1500 range.

I think the amp did well. It's going to perform different for each sub in each box. I did a few videos of this and many tests. All in all it's a good amp, for the money, you can't beat the watt's. Thanks, hope that helped.

Isn't it rated down to 1 ohm? Did you ever test what it would do there?

I tested it at half an ohm on the sub.

@John Oates I wire them each time down to half ohm, ran in series with 2 is a 1/4 ohm, with box rise that 1/4 ohm runs at .7 on the amp. Every amp is different. Even same brand and series. Power Acoustik has their RZR1 line, the 1500 can do it's rated but does not like 1 ohm loads, the 2300 does the same as the 1500, now the 2500 is like a different beast, runs at anything you throw at it. I do plan to get these other amps also, I'd like to do the rest of them and see how they do.

​@SubzPawz I tried to run my txp6000.1 at .75..1.5 per coil wired in parallel to final .75..It was working great ...But it got stupid hot from about 5 min play time...Put my dual 1 ohm trinity sub back inand wired series for final 2 ohm...No where near enough power for my sub but the amp.does nor ever get hot now

What would you say the true RMS is when it’s running at 2ohm? I need a 1000rms 2ohm amp. Do you think this one will make do?

I think for the price and power this amp puts out this is your winner, Nobody has caught on to these other amps I did, I did the 600 watts and 1500 watts amps from Seismic Audio, those amps are consistent power I have not seen in many amps. Check out the videos I have for the 1500. They have a 1,000 watt one too I hope to demo soon, they were out of stock the last time I looked.
