Soundwave - Dark of the Moon Deluxe Class

As of today, 2/4/2012, I have received in the mail, from Hasbro Australia, FREE! Deluxe Soundwave. It was a preview item for K-Mart which Hasbro didn't need any more, so they gave it to me, because I wanted to order it, and they only had one. *squee* :D

@mattigi Over-saturation of Wave 1 gems like Bumblebee, Mudflap, Bumblebee, Skids, Bumblebee, and Bumblebee never sold, so retailers didn't order future waves. Why no online sales, though, Hasbro?

Do you think the Dark Soundwave from Takara coming in June is a good substitute of this one? same mold but dark grey/black colored, like all Soundblaster redecos. It should be the before canceled Movie Trilogy Soundwave.

They never hit retail in SG, picked mine up at Hong Kong retail. In SG, you can find them at various collector shops, like in China Square Central, albiet at jacked up prices over $50SG. PM me if u need more details. ;)

@gregds1 Retailers weren't ordering any more figures due to being stuck with overstock of the first few waves, especially Bumblebee since he was in all the earlier waves in one form or another. So now retailers in the US especially are sick of movie toys and don't want to order the Trilogy toys either.

Does the balljoint on the head match the one on Rotf Deluxe Soundwave's head? I don't like that its painted silver so I thought of maybe replacing its head with the head from the Rotf Deluxe version since its blue and might match better - that is if I ever got it.

I wish I could say I feel you're guys' pain....I actually got both the DOTM Deluxe Class Soundwave and Wheeljack figures, but *only* because I preordered them from an online sight that had them listed, *and* at a cost you would've expected at.....say a Wal-Mart or Shopko! It was only *after* I got them that I found out that the wave they were included in was cancelled, and that the only people who were even guaranteed a *shot* at getting them were the people who preordered them like me! It *really* is a pity, too! I mean....both figures are *awesome!*

I don't just get it why hasbro keep canceling most of the best transformers figures and why they must put many figures shops as freaking exclusive toys to some walmart, target or toy'r'us. Honestly I feel Hasbro was so cheap with this line... The figures EVERYONE wanted out of the line were the Wreckers and Soundwave/Que, and they barely delivered two Wreckers, all the rest were only released in Asia. Also, whatever happened to the 2 Other Dreads and Mirage, I'll never know! (Sure the Ferrari thing was kinda weird with Mirage, but heck, they could've made a car that looks ferrari-ish...)

DOTM Sideswipe sucks as well. Dull gray looks terrible. And I paid full retail for it >< First TF I had bought in a long time. Since then I've gotten smarter and only bought on discounts
