I honestly love anime specifically for the character bonding and interactions. Seeing the hero students of mha work together just hits different. I find emotional scenes like deaths to impact harder than irl shows.

Im glad soup girlfriend is okay and blarg found a solution for his sleep. Also, the movie blarg is talking about is 'Alive', it's a really good Korean zombie movie, highly recommend. Also, i can relate to the anime discussion, as someone who is into anime, I grew up watching the generic type which is naruto, DBZ, bleach, one piece, pokemon, yugioh, etc, any anime that would come on channel 11 on Saturday back then(dont know if they still do) and adult swim but it takes time to get into anime. Watch Vinland saga, attack on titan, demon slayer, my hero, bungou stray dogs. I dont judge those who watch anime in sub or dub because the animation is the same regardless, as long as we can vibe and talk about it's all good.

@@claracallejo2824 that's true. Recommending animes would always be a daunting task(for me at most) because Im torn between recommend more older animes or newer ones. Plus there are shows that I havent seen that are in the older category. But akira is a good one

This is to Blarg regarding his sleep apnea. I had severe sleep apnea as well. 70 breath pauses an hour. It turned out that my tonsils were too big. They were about the size of walnuts, when they're still in the shell. I'd recommend you getting it examined, Blarg. Getting my tonsils removed cured my sleep apnea, and sleeping with a CPAP mask is really not fun. I hope you figure out a solution. All the best luck to ya, man❤️

Man, sucks to hear about the sleep apnea thing Blarg. I have the same thing going on. As lame as the CPAP machine seems, it's actually not as bad as you think. If you can get the nasal one and try to see if that works, I'd recommend that. You get used to it though, and it definitely helps a ton.

Lol I went through pretty much the exact same thing as soups gf, except I was at the local playground (I was 9) and not out in the woods. Went inside the outhouse and the bar that you lift on the door to unlock it got rusted shut. My dad had to literally rip part of the door off so I could get out. I didn't have a phone at the time, so it took about 45 minutes before he could hear my prepubescent screaming coming from the outhouse.

I've seen DBZ and Sanik X because they used to be on on Saturday mornings. I didn't start watching anime until last year, but now I've seen probably six or seven of them and they're actually surprisingly good. You have to find you type of anime that you like, and the English speaking ones are definitely better than subtitled ones.

I mean it depends, Dragon ball yes god fuck the japense goku. But look up the fire force english shinra, and the fire force japense shinra. The voice literally changes how you feel about the character, In english he sounds like a sex offender, in Japenese he actually sounds like protagnist you can relate too. He literally sounds like an incel in english. But i personally cant handle the mistranslations of both subs and dubs. I just find that Dubs genuinely match the emotion and will usually have a better voice type for characters, but I will check the dubs and see if the voices are tolerable, but most american animes use the same hat to pick out the dubs VA's and i cant handle anymore troy baker and shit. Like as much as chibis annoy me, the standard american protangist voice annoys me sm more. I also don't like when they translate certain phrases, Like you might not like jojo, but Muda muda muda is useless useless useless, in english. And instead of SAYING USELESS USELESS USELSS HE SAYS AN AMERICANIZED MUDA MUDA MUDA. thats all. I think its really just up to effort also. I think with squid people are going to be way more open to even hearing how important translation is to even understand the show, and like what i said about the sex offender voice it can completely affect how a character even rubs off on you. But like to say English dubs are just obviously better is just fucking ret4rded, imagine a japense person saying Hey uh star wars is so much better in the japenese dub because im japense. No the japanese guy is going to be like well i want to hear Mark hamil not Ichigo Nagasaki
