Mcnasty is right on the tuna, basically, the canning and the heating of the tuna denatures the proteins in the tuna which is why the test did not find any traces of tuna (also apparently the tuna was tested with a different test that was designed to identify broken down proteins and it found that the meat is tuna)

McNasty is right about the subway tuna sandwich, there are tons of species of tuna and the article that you guys read only tried out 4 or 5 types of tuna and the dna of tuna gets damaged when being cooked, also, another news article tried it out at a place that specializes in testing cooked fish and confirmed it was tuna.
