I'm really diggin' this video. I like the way you formatted it, with the sped-up drawing and appearing in the corner doing the commentary. It's very helpful, the information you're giving, so thanks for that. I'm going to watch the rest of the video now, but wanted to chime in before I forgot to. You mention how you like using reference images. I do too, and I like creating mood boards. I've been searching for good tools for photo reference, and finally found some good ones, one on the Mac/PC, and one for iPad. They're done by different folks, but they're both really cool. PureRef (PC/Mac) and VizRef (iPad). I've just started using them, but really dig them, and thought since you like using photo reference, you might like them too. Anyway, thanks again for the helpful Affinity video. (I'm trying to learn Affinity, and am checking out tutorial videos. Yours is really helping, thanks.)

Hi, would it be possible, in your estimation, for a complete beginner to completely bypass the desktop version of Affinity Designer and learn and get okay / good at vector design using nothing more than an iPad, an Apple Pencil and the iPad version of Affinity Designer. Great video, thanks!

Heck yes. I've got a little over 20 years of Adobe illustrator experience and I pretty much jumped ship in 3 hours after trying out affinity designer on the iPad. The only downfall I could see is that if you do contract work with clients that need to open files in illustrator there can be issues with loading fonts. Besides that it's incredibly capable

how do you add more point in order to manipulate the square? I tried seeing what tool you had selected but it was moving too fast lol

If I'm not mistaken it's the second tool down. (Looks like a hollow arrow)the square has to be in editable mode though, click it in the primitives sub menu )
