I think you are the BEST teacher when cooking because you give the " whys" of everything you do... I can't thank you enough

I agree ! I have made her sesame chicken and it turned out great. My son is part Asian and laughed at me because he said there's no way I can make Chinese food. But because she was so great in her demonstration . My son said he loved it and it was better than any Chinese restaurant but the only thing was he didn't feel like it was something he would eat the next day after sitting in the refrigerator if there were leftovers

Very Very Good. They say "never trust a skinny chef" but I must say you are an excellent Chef!!! Thank you for all the wonderful recipes that you have shared with us in the internet. I am a western chef by profession and have always had difficulties in finding an English speaking generous Chinese chef as tutor. Your video has inspired me to go back to my Chinese roots. Cheers!

This was my favorite street food when I lived in Ningbo, China, but I never saw it anywhere else, and only one lady made it! Most Chinese people I met didn't even know about it. I love your channel! Good luck and thank you for the recipes!!!!

This 肉夹馍 originated in Shaanxi Province, China. In fact, this snack is very famous in China. It can be found in many Chinese cities, but only in Shaanxi Province is authentic

Oh my word, those hamburgers look SO scrumptious! I am definitely going to try this recipe in the very near future. Thanks for sharing all these lovely Chinese dishes and recipes that all seem so much more authentic than what we can get from the typical Chinese takeaway, or restaurants here in the UK.

Rou Jia Mo was my absolute favorite street food when I lived in Shenzhen, but the meat was cooked on a vertical rotisserie ( think kebab rotisserie ). After the meat was sliced off, it was mixed with finely chopped lettuce and spices, and put into a steamed bun a bit softer than you showed. Most of the shops that sold Rou Jia Mo, also sold spicy potatoes, similar to small roast potatoes. I would make the 60-90 minute trip to go to the food alley in DongMen, just to eat the Rou Jia Mo and spicy potato for lunch when time permitted. I definitely miss that.
