I was living in San Diego 1977-1978 and would see commercials for Cal Worthington Ford on tv. He would always have his dog "spot" with him which could be anything from a cow to a wild cat this is Soupy's take-off af that car dealer commercial.

Watched "Cal Worthington and his dog, Spot" (which could be any kind of animal) commercials on Hawaiian tv in '77-'78. Soupy was the best!

Soupys shows were so punny, way over the head of the serious ruling class.

wow, it's almost unbelievable how bad this show is. especially with soupy sales being so likable and all. but christ, it's basically unwatchable.
