That team was something else. Top order batsmen like Ganguly, viru and Sachin could bowl well, Rahul was a very good handy keeper and the bowlers like bhajji, kumble, ajit agarkar,zak,nehra, could score some runs at the end and at the top of it, we had a runaway match winning allrounder in Yuvi. Nowadays we don't have one top order batsman who is ready to bowl.. and the bowlers hit one 4 and raise their bat😏😏😏 We are a top team now, but the passion was something else in this team.

You had Azhar before who was a handy middle order batsmen, Mohammad Kaif has not much centuries but was good at soaking pressure when 2,3 wickets falls early and was a great fielder.. Then yuvi who was exceptional be at batting and fielding and would give some part time spin for the team and also Raina, again almost same as yuvi.. Now we dont have that proper middle order batsmen who can soak pressure and also a great fielder and bowl part time.. Kedhar Jadhav is there but his fitness is a concern

Now the people are evaluating Sourav Ganguly right way, the way he was supposed to be evaluated. I remember those days in 2004 onwards when there was a site called “I love to hate ganguly” and they had huge followers. Let me first clarify. I am an Assamese and was really proud for Sourav may be because he was someone not from Bombay or Delhi. Anyways during that days when he was going through bad time different people (mainly people not from Eastern part of India) suggested that his parent rightly spell his name as sOurav not as Saurabh (the way rest of the India spell) knowing that he would score 0s only. Sometimes those discussion used to cross any zonal, regional or state hood feelings. And the people used to enjoy it. Past is past, I am really curious to know now that where those haters are now? Did they commit suicide?

Remember WC 2011 Final match? YUVI the super hero in super form? MSD came in front of him when Gambhir and others have already taken the (low scoring) match in Indian's way. Tell everyone what was the batting record of Dhoni in the entire series before the final? Dhoni wanted fame for himself. Dhoni bats at 6-7, know why? He's clever. See the reason behind his high average. He bats last and tries to remain not out. He has acquired the "best finisher" name for himself. He never comes to bat when India is in trouble. He destroyed the careers of many legends including SG. It makes me think that he was the main culprit to draw a division between him and Dravid using the villain coach and later he removed Dravid too and made his way clear to become the captain of a set good Indian team. He destroyed Sehwag, Yuvraj... everyone who stood up against him in such a way that he never wanted any effect of Saurav Ganguly in his team. Yes, he succeeded.
