Every time I create the 3d skybox and compile, nothing happens. Instead I get a copy of my map but 16x bigger in the distance. PLEASE HELP!!

for some reason now, when you try to scale everything down hammer needs a 0 in front of the decimal: "0.0625" as opposed to just .0625

I can't tell if this was a joke, but it's the exact same thing. There always has to be a number that comes before a decimal point, and when you don't put one, it has to be 0.

please help i am doing everything right but when i scale it to 0.0625 it will get smaller but the sky camera isnt in the middle of the props that i want to be in skybox please help PS:sorry for bad english i am not american

Still at 0 0 0. Where the level is built does not matter assuming that you're building the 3d skybox objects around the level as shown in the video.

Although it can add to the visuals of the map. If its for competitive use there shouldn't be any fog, but its still good to know how to use it.

Even competitive levels should have some level of fog to help with the visuals of the level. Don't blow out the fog in the level, just a small amount.

Make it a func_brush, and turn off collisions. For models they've already got a collisions keyvalue.
