Yeah, at least from this video it appears that the pedal is translating the direct guitar tone with decent fidelity. I have this on my radar for a JCM800 2204 build with a series "zero Loss" FX loop. Naturally, a pedal that preserves the direct guitar tone is paramount in that case. Nice sounding and versatile pedal. Many pedals have what I might refer to as the "Digital milky swamp smear" which I find very old already, and sonically offending. This pedal doesn't seem to have alot of that. Nice video.

Hey Michael, cool demo, Ventris is dual engine, however I don’t think the Nemesis is. I just sold my Ventris and Nemesis and have replaced them with the Collider and love the smaller footprint on my board but miss the more straight forward dedicated pedal structure. The parameters you select on one side maintain their value even after you’ve changed them in the other side. That way when you return to the other previously selected effect your new control positions are in effect the old position thus preventing massive step changes. At least I think that’s how it works based on my desired delay time bouncing around the dial. I really love that you commented how close the delays were to some of the classic rack gear you love. How would you rate the reverb compared to your Bricasti or PCMs?

Great demo , good solid guitar player ! Thanks - I own one , I'm guessing ( of course) but I bet the bit of silence there at the end is when you looked at the complicated manual after hearing what happens to volume once the two effects are combined . For those who don't know -Source engineers introduce these mathematical illustrations someone thought belong in a musicians effect manual - 'No' Geometry or what ever that part was supposed to explain was defiantly not the way to go . ( In my humble opinion ) I'm an old dude. Memo to Source: Please keep engineers away from your manuals . Let this guy write it . ans send him a bunch of free stuff while you're at it . peace !

This is due to a built in tap tempo, otherwise it would not work as designed. You can tap the tempo with the same button so it cannot turn off immediately after you pressed for the first time.

Is it true that the Collider's preset switching takes between 200 ms and 1 second (when using Midi / Effects Switcher)? I would need something like the collider for my live pedalboard, but waiting a second for the sound to appear is not okay at all. Do you have any experience with that? I've also read that the delay/reverb unnaturally stops immediately when turning the collider of - is that true?

Yes it absolutely is Aleks. In fact I replied to a comment you made on another You Tubers video. I sent video of my latency (close to a second) to Source Audio and they advised that is the normal latency due to the processing power. I’m 2 years late but yes JK I am. It’s not a volume drop, it is the effect totally dropping out before the next preset effect kicks in - i.e latency.
