I was 280 when I got back into riding and I was super worried about strength. The only issue I ever ran into was with an old crank and unsealed bottom bracket and cheap pedals. I twisted the shaft and bent pedals after a few big drops, but I replaced the crank with a cheap (but infinitely better) one from mission, a fiction sealed BB and the cheapest sealed pedals I could find. $50 in upgrades, and it's been bulletproof. I wouldn't worry about the frame. I ride my nephew's old hi-ten frame sometimes just to try the shorter tt, and I've even done some park on a 6061 frame. The bearings are the weak point. Make sure everything is sealed and you'll probably be good

This really drove home how amazing it is that she rips the way she does. She's got to be extremely strong and athletic to do what she does without the benefit of additional body mass to leverage when riding transition and dirt.
