hey all, i forgot to mention two things: One, a disclaimer: I do not own, nor do I claim to own any assets associated with the Source Engine Blender Collection. They are Valve's, meaning their rules apply. In short, you *must* use them non-commercially. You can't put it in your own games at all. Two: For the Map Extras to work, "Auto Execute Python Scripts" must be enabled in the preferences under "Save & Load". If you do not wish to do this, go to the text editor of any map and execute the map extras script.

it should also be worth mentioning that using valve assets in other game engines is also against their TOS so you can't have any of these assets in a game on a different engine on steam, even if said game is free.

This is a very big project and more important than it seems. This allows SFM animators to migrate to Blender permanently. Once all assets are imported into Blender, animators will no longer have to deal with outdated SFM. This won't just make things easier, it also means we could see bigger TF2 animation movies. Because everything is possible with Blender! I have been wondering for a long time whether such a project was possible. I really respect that project.
