This is a step-by-step guide to making wonderfully crusty artisan sourdough bread. This recipe will make two light and chewy loaves with an airy, open crumb, and tangy flavor. Levain -
25 grams mature sourdough starter
75 grams filtered water
75 grams bread flour
667 grams Bread Flour
74 grams Whole Wheat Flour
15 grams salt
148 grams mature sourdough starter
496 grams filtered water

Hello Maggie from Thailand. I have tried many recipes from many KZbinrs with different techniques. I don’t know why I couldn’t get the open crumb or big bubbles inside. The best I got was so tiny oven spring. 😅 But with your clip, on my first try today. I got the most beautiful bread!!! Well rounded shape and stunning oven spring! 🥳🎉 I couldn’t get the big bubbles like you yet. I will try it again tomorrow. Anyway, you’re making my day! I couldn’t stop watching my bread and smiling to it. 😅 Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏻

Thanks, Sylvia! It really is pretty easy! I was afraid to make homemade bread for years, thinking it was too hard. Happily, I discovered it really isn't too difficult! Now, I'm addicted! LOL
