🍋Sourdough Lemon Blueberry Waffles🫐 Freezer Friendly

These waffles are our new favorite! They are so delicious. Lemon and blueberry go so well together. I love to have these in the freezer for a quick breakfast. They are better and healthier than Eggo waffles. I always double this recipe. Happy cooking friends! 🍋🫐😊

* Things I added to this recipe: zest of one lemon, juice of half a lemon ( or 2 tbsp. Of bottled lemon juice, substituted lemon extract for the vanilla extract, and add desired amount of blueberries.

I've tried to make sourdough starter! Two times, they both failed! I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I'm done for now! You make wonderful sourdough recipes!

Treva, I’m sorry. Does anyone near you have a sourdough starter? I’m sure they would share some with you. Some restaurants might have a sourdough starter that they would share. You can make regular waffles and add the lemon and blueberries. They will taste just as good as the sourdough ones. Thank you! You are so sweet! 😊❤️

These look awesome! I'm surprised you found ripe blueberries already. Half of the raspberries still aren't ripe. Good job! 🫐🍋🧇

Thank you! There were still some green blueberries out there, but most of them were ripe when I went picking. I’m still getting raspberries on my raspberry bushes too. I’ve been picking them every few days as they get ripe. 🍋🫐🧇
