Mary, the beet salad looks lovely. I’d never thought of eating beets raw. Very Interesting! It’s always good to eat raw foods.. My two favourite ways to eat beets is, pickled beets! And about 7 years ago, I discovered roasted beets. I peel & chunk the beets, toss them with a bit of olive oil and black pepper, then roast them in the oven. A wonderful side dish for any meal. Thanks for a great video! Sooooo relatable. You make it look so easy. I'm going to get off the fence and stop being negative about saying to myself "Oh, I could never do that". Yes I will. Also - just learned that the sourdough, and rye flour help to make bread much lower on the glycemic index and is one of the best choices to help blood sugars stay lower.

Wow, your asparagus has really taken off since I saw it last! I tried the weed cloth in my yard, but those terrible cottonwood suckers rip right through it. ☹ So for now I do all my gardening in raised beds up on legs, or in pots. I'm already eating cherry tomatoes, patty pan squash, jalapenos, and strawberries, though I'm losing most of the berries to the birds. Raised up high like that, they are easy for them to see. 😅 Your garden is such a thing of beauty❣

Why not put the baking powder and salt in the flour? I fear it's not mixed evenly. The more holds is because your starter is more mature. Love to try your recipe.
