The opening 24 was made for just one episode in celebration. In celebrstion of the episode 1000 of the anime.

no, the 24th opening is Paint. The 1000th episode is a special opening out of count, like the re-edition of the first opening with/ without the cartoonish sounds

The reason why so many of this openings look beautiful is because of Eiichiro Oda himself, the intros references a lot of his illustrations, specially the old ones. And with the help of the animators something beautiful is born, RESPECT.

It's kinda sad they don't do it anymore. Now, Toei just makes generic anime openings.. One Piece used to be so unique with the openings and music. I think the last good opening was probably Dressrosa. Once they started Whole Cake Island, it became really generic. Not that there weren't generic-ish openings before, but yeah. That said the openings for Wano are visually really good, but the songs leave much to be desired.

i love the show the only problem is because it is weekly they episodes later on lack on content, 1/3 of a manga chapter per Episode is really slow. Means more flashbacks and recap of many things. I just would wish toei would make an arc an give them more time with the next arc maybe 6 months or a year.

The Pre-Timeskip ones were iconic but the Post-Timeskip ones are THE new standard in terms of animation and a lotta pepole say that it was Demon Slayer with Tengen Uzui VS Gyutaro , N°6 of the superior demon moons at that point actually that set the new bar for animation quality . So far the manga of one piece has 1100+ NAMED characters... probably bordering 1200 but last time i actually fact checked it was above 1000 yet almost 200 characters have been introduced since... i am sure i at most remember 50% of the names... but with just a nudge of information i can remember 80% of the names... and i REALLY SUCK with names but that is how much the characters are memorable... (also have watched it over 10 times so...)
