South Africa has a large land mass, so climates here vary from full desert to savannah, to tropical and everything in between. It snows in various areas pretty much every year in Kwazulu Natal, the Eastern Cape, and even sometimes (maybe every 10 years or so) in Gauteng. The snowfall in this video is showing snow falling during spring - that's rare, and so is the depth of the snow. We don't really see this depth, other than on the top of mountains.

We've been having snow for ages, snow is not exclusively USA thing as many of you believe, yes it's quite not so normal for snow to fall this time of the year it's usually around June, July or earlier in August but as for Spring time it's quite a bit unusual🤔
