@sibusisobrian5038, yes but that’s not what the IEC says . Remember the IEC is not the court and the IEC can’t go against what the courts have judged on . The IEC is simply saying that Zuma has a criminal record of which stands currently. Whether it was unfair or not , it’s for him to dispute it with the courts , but objection was based on the current record of Zuma .

What do you mean when you say Zuma was wrongly imprisoned and he was never found guilty of any crime?Zuma was found guilty by the highest court in this country ,he was found guilty for contempt of court for refusing to go to zondo commission,and for disrespecting the judges at the constitutional court,that Zuma doesn't qualify to be the president of south Africa again ,he is a convicted criminal and the laws of this country are clear,if you have criminal record that is not cleared ,you cannot be elected to be in parliament

Yes he should just give someone else an opportunity, Zuma knew from the start that he can’t be president of the country, but that does not say that he can’t be president of a political party . You should remember that president of a party does not necessarily mean a president of the country.
